It may be blamed on racism (good scapegoat) but in reality he felt slighted that she was doing what he thought should be his job. Easier to shout racism than admit you feel inadequate.

That was a glock 40, they hold 15 rounds if i remember correctly. 14 with 1 chambered. She took 3 shots with no exit wounds visible so im gonna assume he had low grain ammo or was using cheap hollow points. This is a prime example of bullets not being an instant kill. Ive watched both the news footage and the pov video and its stomach churning. Just horrible.

If you watched their noon broadcast, she explained that gunshots were honestly not something she even thought of. Everyone in the newsroom was confused as to what was going on

Guns usually don't drop people cold to the ground as you see in Hollywood movies. That only happens if you hit a critical area and most of the body is not. That is why cops will shoot people who "only have a knife" at times at what appears to be a far distance and people wonder why they shot when the suspect "was not a threat." The reason is because people can run and stab and kill you even after you put several rounds into them. Yeah, they will likely die eventually from all the trauma and bleeding, but meanwhile they also killed you. Head shots are almost always good for a fast drop. But in a tense situation, people usually aim for center mass.
