Despite the comments previously made, this happened in Memphis, the hometown of rapper Young Dolph, Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., age 36. He was in town visiting family and had plans to hand out free turkeys to needy families this week. He was visiting a locally owned small business and had just promoted the cookie store on Instagram last week saying he always went there when he was visiting. He had 2 children who no longer have a parent! He was known not only for his music but for consistently giving back to his community. He actually survived 2 previous shootings. One where his bullet proof vehicle was hit over 100 times and a few months later another one that left him with 7 bullets hitting his body and 2 in his spine. So, no matter what your opinion is about BLM or how certain people talk, he was a talented young father and a generous person who was brutally gunned down buying cookies.  |
