Re: Quite Brutal! Girl Gets Executed by a Wood Stick Blow to the Head
Would some Portuguese speaking chap please translate?? It doesn't look like an execution, more like punishment, Since they try to revive her. But what idiots to think this wouldn't/couldn't lead to death if thats the case.

Her neck was likely broken due to the compression, secondly the blunt trauma alone could easily have caused a hemorrhage of the brain tissue... Not sure how you can't see the severity here lol

Re: Quite Brutal! Girl Gets Executed by a Wood Stick Blow to the Head
Here's the thing with the brain bleed and why its so devastating: 1) you have swelling from the initial impact, 2) you have blood soaking in to the brain tissues beyond the blood barrier, which irritates tissue and causes it to swell 3) parts of the brain are getting a nominal supply of oxygen if any at all and so your brain tissue starts to die which causes further swelling 4) they can't do too much about it until they stabilize you (which normally is only temporary with one of these things) except relieve the pressure some (BP and HR go into orbit to try and make up for it). Inevitably, because there is very, very little room for swelling, the brain contorts, the person's eyes may even bug out, it puts enormous pressure on the brain damaging it further.
