government of those countries are not at all like government of USA or western european :/ first their culture has been authoritarian for very long time, is in style of family they have. is even true for greece. is no such thing as "how long can they take", is that most people get scared for their life and stop protesting. i have cousin in Iran married to Iranian girl in 2009 during Green protest their government send Lebanese hesbollah to chop people limb from limb in street |

is not even question there, starting from birth men and women obey their parent without question, are force to do what they parents want them to do in career, love, social life. :/ is like having mirror constantly on your self you must make sure you piss no body off or bring no shame to your family, this type of culture is breeding ground for dictatorship you notice eastern culture is much more body language communication than verbal, is because of disapproval of any deviance from the law of patriarch, same is true for family as is for politics. and western ambassador wonder why no shit gets done there. :/ |
