I'll always think that one of the funniest jokes out of Williams Street has to be in the I robot, really episode...Murphy's robot body has chainsaw hands, and Debbie's gets one Skil Saw hand, and a Fondu Pot for the other. |

agreed...'I, robot..really' is up there...along with the 'Stimutacs' ep and one where Murphy is trapped under the soda machine... oh man, now gonna hafta dig out old backup drive and watch a bunch of 'Sealab'...and that's gonna lead to 'ATHF'.... it's a damn slippery slope that ends with me smoking waaay too much weed and binge watching alternate 'Archer' and 'The Venture Brothers' episodes while only eating baloney that's been friend in the microwave and drinking Hypnotiq straight from the bottle (it's not even chilled...what am I? a savage?) I shouldn't blame you doc.... the comedy is just too good... #monkeybananaraffle |

I got Konfused there for a second, seeing microwave and hypnotic used in the same sentence. Never heard of Hypnotiq liqueur before--it does sound savage. I was reminded of a different deliKacy, often microwaved, that we used to prepare via stovetops. Just a spoon full of Adult Swim helps the medicine go down. Those are all awesome episodes for sure--fucking Stimutacs. "It feels like a Koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain". Did you know that after Harry Goz (Captain Murphy) died, they got his brother to do the voice of Captain Shanks? My favourite Adam Reed/Matt Thompson project though is Frisky Dingo, and its short lived spinoff The Xtacles (Thompson only). However, the ATHF/Brak/Space Ghost crew produced a cancelled series a half season long at the same time as Frisky Dingo called Perfect Hair Forever--that shit is unbelievable! MF Doom does the voice of the giraffe in it, and that's what Doom was talking about on his Adult Swim themed album that came out before Perfect Hair Forever; The Mouse And The Mask. |

fantastic trivia! I didn't know that about Shanks' voice actor.. haven't watched Perfect Hair Forever, but will now... Frisky Dingo was fantastic, and I also didn't know that the best part of that show, the Xtacles, had a spin-off... so now gotta go check that out, lmao.. oh man Killface - the ultimate example of severe/sudden bipolar disorder...
