I think the Olympics in Rio are going to be a disaster. Not only the crime, but they just showed a news report where the harbor that the water competitions are going to be held is almost completely raw sewage. This is shaping up to be the worst Olympics ever.

Brazillian cops are far more corrupt and violent than US cops. I mean, unless you want to go by your feelings rather than the facts, in which case yeah, there's no difference between the cops in the USA and those in one of the most violent shithole third world countries in the world.

"Unarmed" does not mean harmless. There are plenty of situations where shooting an "unarmed" subject is perfectly justified. You might find a picture or two around here of people murdered by "unarmed" attackers.
