One thing many of you aren't taking into account when you say the parents should have hidden it better, put trigger locks on, etc...is that the mere fact that this gun has a drum mag, the 11 year old has photos of him being wannabe-hardcore, and lord knows what else... These suggestions are what responsible parents would/should do.

Sadly, in today's America, kids look up more to gang members, gangster rappers and the like than they even remotely do to soldiers, executives, business owners, etc. Even more sad is that when some of them are able to gather that courage and drive to succeed, their peers mock and bully the shit out of them and most end up changing their minds. There isn't enough money in the world to pay me to grow up in the environment these kids had to.
