Plainclothed Cop Tries to Stop 3 Robbers on a Bike but Receives a Headshot
July, 18, 2019. A police constable in Pakistan was martyred on Thursday after trying to foil a robbery bid at a mobile phone shop where 3 robbers took four mobile phones and Rs40,000. The police said the three thugs were stealing also other accessories from a shop at the market when the police constable, 35-year-old Z.A., reached the crime scene and tried to foil the robbery bid. The armed men, however, opened fire on the cop, killing him on the spot. The suspects later managed to escape. The constable was shifted to the Civil Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead by a bullet in the head. Police officials said he was in plainclothes. The investigators are trying to develop the sketches of the suspects with the help of the eyewitnesses and they have also obtained the CCTV footage of the incident. A case has been registered while further investigations are under way. |

kinda looked like the guy on the left shot him...he tips the scooter over, then takes off running. it would have been a hell of a lucky shot for anyone on the departing motorcycle  |

They shot him from that great distance, 3 on bike, as the were traveling away from the copper?!? Hit him in the head!  Never have seen anything like it. Not a smart move on the copper tho. Did he know they did or could have had guns? Because then..running smack dab in the middle of the road towards them...gave them a good chance to hit him. |

I agree, he chose the wrong direction to run. I don't think they would consider him a threat if he ran away from them.

...none of them are even looking back, either, in the last frame. assuming there wasn't an immediate roadblock ahead of them, they should have been pretty unconcerned about a cop pursuing them on foot; why shoot?  · |
