Re: Philly Woman Gunned Down in the Street
For one thing, I support Black Lives Matter. I know a lot of black people, who are pushing for better education, working on food distribution, trying to de-escalate violence in their neighborhoods, and who are pushing for neighborhood watch programs. I've seen the black kids, this last summer, doing their school work on their laptops, OUTSIDE WHERE IT WAS 105 degrees, because inside the building they couldn't get decent reception for their laptop computers. No one was making them. They were doing it because they wanted to get an education. I've seen enough black people shot on video to know that there are a lot of bad cops. I support the good ones, but I sure don't support ALL of them, because a lot of them are just rotten. I support Planned Parenthood with my money. I support a local non-profit theater with my money. I pick up trash in the adopt-a-road program. I work at a local food bank. I support our local Makerspace with my time and money. Sure, there is plenty of black crime. Just like there is plenty of white crime. Do you make the same sneering comments about the videos on here of white criminals? I have little doubt that this woman just died, trying to make her neighborhood a better place. I'm just really tired of people completely missing what they just saw on a video. How can you be so F******* stupid? This isn't the Water Cooler, so rant is over. |
