Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal

my 2 cents here but the guy was really bat shit crazy and suicidal from before the start of the video(some weeks by now)+ these guys messing with him only sealed their fate.also is it just me me or the woman drew a gun at him when he came with his pointed at them?from her gesture it sems so.and if so from that moment she should have shot him in self defense(not to death ofc)my brother is a cop here in europe and that what he always tell me.if someone SIMPLE points a weapon at you and you have one you should,in self defense use it BUT NEVER with the intention of murdering or else you are really fuked with the law.if she didnt had a gun they were still really asking for it.you never keep pissing a person who has a gun and its already come towards you.
I think it was her cell phone? I think she was filming. Instead of running away.

“Are you alright?” At the end really got me
Bullies don't always win. The woman was still talking shit while she was being shot. They both got what they deserved

Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal

America, at the moment, is a land where consequences only exist for certain people. The news story mentions a long running history between them. So this was built up anger and repressed rage and disrespect. The couple were engaging in conduct they should have known was wrong. They engaged in verbal taunting and painful insults. Verbal attacks ARE attacks. And before you start screaming that "It's just words!", please understand that for many people, the pain inflicted by those ACTIONS (shoveling snow on his property / throwing shovel at him / physical intimidation) and WORDS (insults, taunts and threats of violence) have the EXACT same impact on the receiver as any physical attack. There's NO difference. The disrespect, the knowledge there will be no repercussions for the couple's words & actions, and the expectation of future threats and violence made by the couple sealed their fate and his. On this day, he would take no more. He would effort to bring one tiny iota of balance to the world. The irony is that until the very end, they saw themselves as the victims. That's what bullies do. They are not innocents. They are 100% culpable for their own deaths. They believed they could act as they wanted, without regard for another person's humanity, and so they received the same in return. That's justice. He brought one small measure of justice to the world.

I think the teens did run away. This was the only reasonable thing that happened that day.

oh would you shut the fuck up... Americans this.. Americans that...
Point taken. I do tend to generalize. Thanks for pointing that out —but you don’t have to be so mean about it. I’m just trying to wrap my brain around it and make some sense of it.

Re: Pennsylvania Man James Spaide, Shoots Neighbors Over Snow Removal

I know people often make strange impulse decisions during a crisis, like freezing up or whatnot, and we never really know what we would do until it happens, but I am still pretty blown away that with this guy coming at her with a gun, this woman's instinct is to tell him "go ahead."

Yeeeeeeeah, no. He was crazier than a rat in a tin shithouse.

Anyone who is whackadoo enough to murder unarmed people in the street is a perennial 'victim.' They see threats and insults and offenses everywhere around them and it was only a matter of time.

If it wasn't the neighbors it woulda been a bill collector, a meter maid, a cop in a pull-over, or a lover who spurned him.

Stop making excuses for murderous assholes.

There was no 'justice' nor 'balance here. Only madness, rage, and senseless loss of life.
