Actually, it's highly profitable. A good pastel shop can make $2000/mo in Brazil... It's a lot for our standards. Anyway, the pastel salesman was murder by a Uber driver. When i see salesman i think someone who goes around selling, not a shop/restaurant owner. That makes more sense.

anybody who sells anything can be considered salesperson(even if they are the owner) until they became rich enough to hire people who sells for them. But here, most of the dedicated, single variety delicacy vendors usually goes around in manually pedaled and motorized food carts.

In Brazil, those pastel salesman at something we call "informal market". They don't run a company, just sell these food without collecting taxes. So, they are not businessman or restaurant owner. They just put a tent in the middle of a event and that's it. I can't make a better translation other ten "salesman". Sorry. |
