Re: Officer Involved Fatal Shooting of 56-year Old Bennie Tignor

nice. using driver as a racial slur. been a while since Ive seen our favorite Gang in town get their rocks off compensating for the lack of perceived agency in their lives through taking the life of someone. With any hope they come home to murdered families. Fuck cops.
I hope something horrible happens to you and no cop comes and helps you. Get fucked.

Re: Officer Involved Fatal Shooting of 56-year Old Bennie Tignor

Glad they released this. Fuckin' idiot deserved what he got. One less arsehole in the world. I'm sure if he'd carried on living he would have had a "victim" at some point, being an arrogant, drunk driver with an attitude of "fuck the law". His family are probably after $.
Oh look, another armchair commando douche bag who just named himself judge, jury and executioner. That's some real clarity in the thinking right there. No prejudices, no cliches, none whatsoever! LOL Oh And Change your handle son, you sound like a goddamned porcupine on meth.

Re: Officer Involved Fatal Shooting of 56-year Old Bennie Tignor

This is bullshit. 6 or 7 rounds into the guy.... thats not what they are trained to do, and for all you idiots that are going to jump on the bandwagon of good ole police...US military in combat zone fight with rules of engagement and adhere to those rules effectively. why would you applaud police from NOT adhering to the training and rules of confronting an armed suspect. You will applaud this reckless behavior until someone you know is "accidentally shot" by these boneheads that react with thier guns out of fear and cant keep a level head to do their job properly. yes it can be a dangerous job... but that was their choice to be a policeman, no one forces them. DO THE JOB PROFESSIONALLY OR GET OUT OF IT

Re: Officer Involved Fatal Shooting of 56-year Old Bennie Tignor

assuming 9 rounds striking a person would guarantee they are no longer a threat will get you killed
Correct.

Many police officers and citizens have been wounded or killed by fatally wounded assailants that were able to summon up the ability to fire a weapon prior to their death.

There was one case where a guy was hit 14 times and lived.

So you never know.

Better safe than sorry.

When LETHAL FORCE is applied, the officer is going for the kill.

Aside from officer safety, the number of rounds fired doesn't matter.

In such a case, the main thing is that the officer goes home at the end of his shift.

15 rounds and slap in another mag?

Sure.

Better too many rounds than too few.

He was professional the entire time, even as he was shooting the arrogant drunk driver that figured fighting with a police officer and pulling a gun on a police officer is a good idea.

That guy signed his own death certificate, fuck him.

Re: Officer Involved Fatal Shooting of 56-year Old Bennie Tignor

Just bad all around...

The officer did his job so I don't fault him.

Unfortunately the driver was most likely Blacked Out and was just startled by the cop interrupting his mission to get into bed. (Notice how he didn't know what was going on) I seriously doubt the driver would harm the cops when sober and obviously wasn't working with a clear mind. Still, being under the influence isn't an excuse so I guess it just wasn't his day

Plenty of killings have been committed by people in a BLACKOUT.

I knew a guy who blew his girlfriend's brains all over a wall with a 12 gauge shotgun in a BLACKOUT.

He got a 20+ year prison sentence.
