The screams at the end... What I assume to be of the mother in the changing room when she realized her daughter was shot

Re: North Hollywood Store Shooting That Left Suspect and Teenage Girl Dead
That was no accident. Even an idiot will be able to rationalize that rounds from an AR-15 will pass through a human body and hit the background. Stupid cop was aware the store was open and people was all around shopping. If they were so eager to shoot they should have used their sidearms which are loaded with JHP rounds precisely to avoid over penetration, I'm pretty sure the round that killed the girl ended up lodged onto a wall, effectively passing through her body and the perp's. |

Re: North Hollywood Store Shooting That Left Suspect and Teenage Girl Dead
I agree this was a bad shoot, but you are incorrect about the over penetration. Especially with the 556 round, they yaw and frag violently. Police are also issued rounds designed specifically to do this for the very reasons stated. Truth is, slow, heavy, rounds from hand guns are much more likely to over penetrate; especially when they get plugged up by clothing or barrier materials, causing the hollow point to fail to expand. |
