Nigeria: Female Student Beaten & Burned Alive Over Blasphemy Allegations
Sokoto State. This Thursday morning a female student was lynched by fellow muslim students. The victim, identified as D.S., was accused of insulting the Prophet Mohammed at the Shehu Shagari College of Education. Due to threats to her safety, 'D' was immediately moved to the security post of the school, according to a student who witnessed the development. However, the mob pursued her and overpowered the security personnel there. According to reports, she was killed over a message that she posted in an online forum. Two suspects have been arrested, police said. |
