im going to by a microlight instead of a new bike, the cops cant fucking catch me up there or do me for speeding etc, its a win win on everything with one of them. no road tax no busy roads or wankers getting in the way on your fav corners etc, skys the limits. hell i feel liks shouting something buzz lightyear would but im going to stop myself getting yo carried away at the thought of a big fuck you to the law and dum fucking roads users who dont look or give a fuck but always get away with there mistakes at the cost of other ppls pain n deaths, jusy want to end there with a word to all you true bikers, take care and be safe bothers and god bless them that have left us behind, r.i.p

People over here in the states hate sportbikes as well. Here in Florida, the legislature wanted to give 5-10 years prison time to anyone caught doing a wheelie, going 30 over, or having their license plate mounted wrong 3 times in their life. Before the bill was passed though, they took the prison time out, and raised the speed part to 50 over, but for a first offense for any of those you get a $1000 fine, 2nd offense $2500 fine, 3rd offense you get a felony conviction, $5000 fine and they seize your motorcycle and suspend your drivers license for 10 years and MC endorsement for life.

Yet there have been 10 house and state bills that proposed making texting while driving a citable offense, some with fines as low as $50, and they were all shot down.

I would imagine riding a bike in the UK is a bit more dangerous than over here.
