So, you can choose to fight or cooperate. The fight boat sails in less than a second so all that's left is to do as you're told, in which case this clerk did everything right. The naive part of me wants to say the trigger got pulled by accident/due to nerves or whatever, but sadly I know the truth is that this is the result of a clinical psychopath with paranoid tendencies.

Are you saying he is a dumbest for thinking he won't get put to death? Going by past cases. I'd say that's not to far off. Won't get out but doubt he will be executed anytime soon. If at all. Child murderers have sat and are still sitting in death row. He deserves the same. A 75 cent bullet to the brain pan so no one has to waste more money on his trash ass. To be fed and housed to be what? Be put to death. |

The clerk definitely missed an opportunity to get out of this situation alive. When the robber hops over the counter, the clerk hands him something from a shelf under the register. At this point the thief has the gun at his side, turns his head away, directs his attention elsewhere in the store for several seconds. At this point, the clerk could have either put his hands on the firearm in an attempt to take it, or even taken the opportunity to sucker punch the thief, and bolt out of the store.

I hope more clerks start shooting first and kneeling later. Absolutely NO blame on this poor clerk whatsoever; he was doing the best he could. But when people see this is what they get for “complying,” I’m blowing a head off first chance I get. I don’t really care what I have to do to stay alive for those I love, especially if some savage is threatening my survival. |
