To all the avid knife aficionados on here (myself one of them). People who are the victims of knife crime do not know the difference between Chinese, Japanese or American made products. They don't know the difference between AUS 8 steel, 1095 high carbon steel, or the more prestigious s30v or Elmax steels. They do not know how to distinguish a back lock from a liner lock, and wouldn't know what a clip point, spear point or tanto blade even is. Most importantly, and perhaps I should've stated this fact sooner, they don't care...  All they do know at the given time of attack is 'fuuuuuck me that hurt!' Knives can kill, game set match.  The first thing going through my mind would be 'This maniac is going to kill me, I must do something or I will end up as another thread on the website.'
