Mexico - Couple Shot Dead Walking Down the Street
On the afternoon of 3rd March 2020 in the 20 de Noviembre neighbourhood (Mexico), a couple were murdered. 30 year old K.N.M.E. was walking down the street with her partner, J.R.B. Waiting for them were 4 armed men on 2 motorbikes. The gunmen fired over 25 shots, killing 'J' on the spot. 'K' was taken to the hospital but died upon arrival. The gunmen fled the scene + the motorbikes were later found abandoned. Last November, 'J' was shot in his face. He spent 2 months in hospital but he was left blind. 'K', the ex-wife of a drug trafficking member of La Tepito Union Cartel, leaves a 12 year old son.
