India, Video shows a mentally challenged youth being electrocuted after he climbed a high-tension electric pole. He climbed the pole carrying an 11,000-volt line. In the two-minute long video, the youth is seen climbing the pole, but when policemen ask him to come down, the youth grabs the high-tension wire resulting in a massive explosion. The youth was flung to the ground and succumbed instantaneously, the police said.

Identified as Sanjay, the deceased was a rickshaw puller and sole bread earner of his family. A station officer of Jagdispura said that earlier too he had climbed a pole but was rescued but this time the on-duty cops could not save his life. They tried to stop him and requested him to come down, but Sanjay didn't listen to anyone. Later when police came, he grabbed the high-tension wire and was killed in the massive explosion that followed.
