Massacre in Colombia
I've found it quite hard to translate what was being said in the conversation that came with this video, but from what I gathered I think that they were saying in this video that the guy is saying the people were killed cos they were detractors to the government. Long live the FARC. Can anyone help with what the guy is saying?

Re: Massacre in Colombia
Video Translation: "[Unintelligible]... authority of the national government. These gentlemen who are lying here are Christian brothers and have been riddled with bullets by the FARC. By the 16th front [unintelligible] by the FARC. These gentlemen were evangelicals and farmers. Brother, I want justice to be done for these three indigenous brothers. In total there are eleven indigenous people who have died by the guerrillas. And the national government, the army and [unintelligible] are not doing anything; they are not doing anything. Look at these brothers. They have been riddled with bullets by the FARC for almost 16 hours ago, look. They say they are revolutionaries (referring to the FARC) but they kill innocent, humble and indigenous people. Look what they have done with them. I ask you to the government justice for this. They say they have ancestral roots, but look what is happening, they are killing us and the national government is not doing anything for us. Thank you very much (referring to the cameraman)". |

Re: Massacre in Colombia
Thank you very much for that. I could get some of what was being said in the coversations regarding this video on twitter, but I just couldn't understand the context. So the FARC killed those people and that guy was saying the government are doing nothing about it? I think if I remember right there was some talk about a political campaign that is going on at the moment right now, as well. Maybe that has something to do with it. So much corruption in this world. |
