Seriously though, on a serious note, I saw that the napalese burned down a mosque in katmandu. What about every single mosque in Nepal, and outlaw the religion, and send them a video back with a few beheadings of their own? I was thinkin... why doesn't the USA fund some internal american groups who just chop some heads off and post the vids? I mean, it's kind of like a communication, isn't it? It's like a threat or a challenge or a "fuck you" or whatever, it is basically saying "here is the most fucked up thing we know how to do, fuck you, here is the video, go fuck yourself". That is what these islamist execution videos are saying. I would think that if we sent some back to them, they would get that message, it would be something they would understand. Like make some captured insurgents wear pig noses and read a statement saying that america is great, and then start with the chopping, and the soldiers can just be like "fuck yeah, america rules! metallica woo" and just put the heads on sticks and look in the camera and say "fuck you". I mean, not to be crass or anything or disrespectful, but it's honestly possible that people in those countries don't understand anything less than that... like you have to put some heads on stakes and dance around them for them to get the message that you are the chief, or that your army is stronger, or whatever. Words don't seem to listen to them, and massive airstrikes seem to just leave them bewildered and clamoring for allah or whatever. It's possible that the vivid, more symbolic nature of the types of videos that THEY make, that are obviously like a traditional thing for them, would be more effective intimidation tool. just a thought
