Gosh damn that's a horrible wreck. I follow MotoGP and I was shocked when I read about a few mins ago. He was a talented rider; this is so terrible. Glad that Rossi & Edwards were OK.

Well yeah he's not in a natural position - no shit, it pretty fucking obvious. From Nicky Hayden: "It is a really horrible day for all of us," the American said. "I saw Marco fall. Leaving the corner, he lost the back end and probably he didn't manage to regain his balance on the bike."

With the back end being lost, the bike was probably about to highside, but it didn't launch him over the handlebars & he somehow kept the bike up. From the stills, he managed to hang on, and he is literally hanging on with the entire right side dragging on the ground. There was nothing for Rossi or Edwards to do when he darted back across the track in front of them.

I used to roadrace for several years & I follow MotoGP, and although I don't know it all, I do know that Rossi (known as "The Doctor", the guy in the red you refer to, 7x world champion) DID give a shit. Rossi's been having shitty year moving over to Ducati, but he's not going to purposely mow someone down. All of these guys are still brothers even though they battle each other on the track.

These guys are going at such a high rate of speed there is little room to maneuver when someone darts out in front of you like Simoncelli did.

Marco & all of these guys, even down to the 125s, have to carry their balls in a dumptruck. You would probably need a peanut shell to carry yours in. Keep the asinine comments to yourself.

I wouldn't be suprised if Rossi and Edwards would stop racing after they killed someone. Those guys aren't going to sleep tonight and
they both feel pretty shitty, I guess.

I'm really really sad about this. He was my favorite because of his outcast body size (to me it always looked as if he was riding a mini bike) & his overtaking capacities.

Watched it happen live, and was pretty damn sure he was toast; getting your helmet blown off is not a good sign of survival.
