Re: Marco Simoncelli R.I.P
To keep on running (if the bike is ok) is always the best thing to do: to stop would only add danger to danger, especially in the immediate closeness of an accident. Also he likely didn't struck the rider, who was struck by Edwards (who has no faults either): Simoncelli had a tyre mark in the neck. Rossi was crying, at the box while waiting for news about Simoncelli. |

Re: Marco Simoncelli R.I.P
His riding position was NOT normal before the impact, hard to say what caused it to happen (when he enters the camera field of sight, he's already almost scratching the tarmac with his helmet) maybe he even fainted or just lost control of the bike and was simply unbalanced (he previously lost the control of the bike, loosing grip on the front tyre) : compare his position with the one of all the other riders, and you'll see that he was almost lying horizontally. What's sure is that he crossed Edwards' path who could do nothing to avoid him |
