The last vid is like one of Dante's Inferno's levels of Hell. The damned lying face down in a pool of blood and other bodily fluids pinned under concrete slowing flailing their arms in a futile attempt to escape.

Turd World nightclubs, if the indoor fireworks and blocked escapes don't kill you, the building standards will!

In one vid they are filming the ceiling / lights, are the women looking at the ceiling? Is that dust coming from the ceiling? Did the singer point to the ceiling a second before it came down?

I wish structure collapses and nightclub disasters only happened in the Third World. Successful Western capitalist democracies may have construction regulations and some effort made to ensure they are followed, and we try to learn from our mistakes, but it's hubris to pretend corruption and other dangerous phenomena don't exist in wealthier places. And arrogance leaves us open to carelessness.

Exactly my thoughts when I read 98 dead.

Killed the beloved singer AND a few MLB baseball players who are probably famous locally.

I kinda doubt victims will get much compensation in DR but I am not a global restitution RKI

Imagine some weren’t.
Some probably didn’t even wanna go. Or imagine the ones who wanted to leave earlier but didn’t. The reality is not everyone was having the time of their lives.
