A friend of mine hit a car door that suddenly opened on the street side. The driver that opened his door was a lawyer and tried to intimidate my friend and tell her she was responsible for damages by stating that he was a lawyer and taking pictures of his and her vehicles. I told her not to worry and that any damage to their cars was the other person's (lawyers) responsibility. I showed her the code and she was paid for her damage. For example, Texas transportation code section 545.418 Sec. 545.418. OPENING VEHICLE DOORS. A person may not: 1. (1) open the door of a motor vehicle on the side available to moving traffic, unless the door may be opened in reasonable safety without interfering with the movement of other traffic; or 2. (2) leave a door on the side of a vehicle next to moving traffic open for longer than is necessary to load or unload a passenger. 3. 4. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995. |

it isn't the philippines - they do not have arabic writing for the most part, but they "are" left hand drive 3 idiots - why would the idiot bike rider be on the wrong side of the road with huge trucks coming towards him, and why the idiot in the car would be on the wrong side of the road, who knows . . . plus considering how ridiculous the traffic is over there, the idiot opening the door should have checked, even if there should not have been a bike coming from behind (after all, his car was there so why would another idiot not try the same thing)  |

Yes, in the Philippines they drive on the right side of the road (left hand drive). At least that is where they are supposed to drive. When I rode around Cebu City they were all over the place.

driving around the philippines was an amazing experience it wouldn't have been as good for you, but driving a left hand drive manual with a whole lot of other crazy people was fantastic  it certainly helped that i had a local with me to give directions, otherwise, i would probably have ended up on the wrong side of the road once or twice . . . or more. i wouldn't want to do it too many times but for one day it was great. 3 lanes and (at least) 4 lines of traffic |

To be fair, they don’t fucking use lanes, and just drive in the path that doesn’t have anybody in front of them. That shit looks like a fucking one-way road with how retarded their driving is.
