For good reason. Once he was aiming at cars on the freeway trying to carjack someone he was an eminent danger to those members of the public and the priority shifted from apprehension to immediately stopping the threat. It was a job well done by the cops.

The chief of the police department in a city near me doesn't allow car or body cameras for his cops. When asked why he commented that law enforcement was like sausage making: the quality of the final product is all that counts, and there is no point in showing the details of the process.

They really needed to use the rifles there. Way too many pedestrian vehicles downrange, driving by in both directions for inaccurate volleys from handguns. That really made me pucker my white oreo. It's a miracle nobody innocent was hurt by police there. |
