As a sword collector, I can't help noticing how bent out of shape it was, if nothing else the dickhead is a cheap bastard and he killed someone with a shit weapon.
I'm not into swords, but I know some kendo things and history. So I know a katana is made not to break during combat, but bent. It is also curved by design.
The craftmanship katana is done by hammering folds at least 40 times together.
But I don't know this was a real deal katana or an ornament.
As I read the arm was severed, it was rather sharp.
