Great observation around the ice-pick grip, the way they taught us to use sharps in self defense training. This grip minimizes the chance of your opponent redirecting your motion so you don't end up stabbing yourself.

Yup! There was a high speed chase in LA. The driver ran from the car, went beside a building. He casually walked back out after a quick clothes change (have no idea where he got the clothes). They busted him cuz he didn't change his bright ass yellow Jordan's. The LAPD airship ID him from his shoes.. Had he changed them, he would've blended right in.

The cutter was a nut with a long record who cut other people that night. He was looking for a reason so he started arguments. Lesson learned: Someone you do not know tries to start shit, walk away. I use to drive a taxi in NYC in the 1980s during the crack epidemic. I avoided a lot of that shit back then by running away. I had one dude try to shoot me one night but I had the bullet proof partition and I jumped out of the cab and he jumped out and when he ran around the back I jumped back in and took off lol lol
