Man Drowns in River Ganga
Hope this is not a repost. This guy who did not know how to swim, drowned in river Ganga in Rishikesh, a pilgrimage site, in Uttarakhand, India. |

Horrifying death - apparently filmer didn't know how to swim either, since they just stood there watching the guy struggle (at least they yelled for help). Boats got there just a little too late...

I will honestly never understand why people go in rivers or oceans and don't know the first thing about swimming or even floating. Why do it?  BTW, that water looks dirty as crap. I wouldn't even step foot in it; especially knowing what people do in rivers in India (take baths, go to the toilet, burn dead bodies, wash dishes, bathe animals .... etc. etc.) BTW BTW: Does anybody else think that the post in the water was set there so people shouldn't go beyond it? |
