2) Geez vedderman, try making it personal next time. there's a definite difference in your writing when you have all day to come up with something vs when you get so easily pissed at someone and the childish rhetoric comes out. You threaten to cut people off, control & otherwise act like a dick in your little fiefdom that is totally about freedom.

'Freedom' is no excuse for people taking shots at content-providers here. Without a (very very small) handful of posters who regularly contribute content, this site is nothing. It no longer exists. When we lose our photo/vid content, people stop signing up to the site and it goes dark.

I am willing to tolerate constructive criticism from one contributor to another, but I have a very low tolerance policy for leeches attacking, denigrating, insulting, or thoughtlessly disrespecting content providers in any way.

I consider it trolling in the worst possible fashion, as it risks compromising a provider's interest in contributing to the site. We have lost prolific contributors due to it in the past...many times. And believe you me, I would ban 100 assholes without a second thought if I believed it would keep one good content contributor from leaving the site.

It's got fuck-all to do with control or any superiority complex on my part. Most of the time I enforce this rule, it isn't even in regard to my own posts. This is not personal for me and I can assure you that chris and the other Mods feel the same and will back me up on the point. I may be a little more outspoken about it than some of the others, but none of us will tolerate personal attacks on our content providers.

If people want to lob personal criticisms at content posters here, they have a limited ability to do so in the Watercooler, but it will not be tolerated in the Death section itself.
