In a way it did him some good. He was able to be shot instead of skinned/tortured/beheaded I’d much rather be shot if I had a choice

1.) Your main culprit is: a well known, but unexplained phenomena called "Transient vasoconstriction," happens to all severed/injured blood vessels(especially medium and small arteries), and though it doesn't last long, it allows for coagulation cascade to form fibrin clot at site of injury. 2.) He is bleeding (not as bad as you'd expect obviously). 3.) wounds are not over any major artery(the cut on the knee is the closest one to a major artery{anterior lateral geniculate artery, but clearly it was spared because large arteries almost never stop bleeding on their own unless pressure is applied}. 4.) Since quadriceps muscles were cut near the tendon, less vascularized tissue is present than if the cut was higher up. 5.) Those cuts are not bad actually(Yes deep, yes brutal, but not immediately life threatening) Had he gotten cut on the inside of his thigh, the femoral artery plus great saphenous vein would have been cut and that would let you bleed out in less than 3 minutes or in over an hour if pressure is applied properly. I'm attaching a picture... Notice how most major vessels run on the inside of the limbs.  ·  · |

You can see the jean clad legs and sneakers of the man choking him. You can even see the victims arm being held between the mans thighs to hold him as his arm is around the victims throat. You can hear the victims voice being strained as he...idk is pleading or saying whatever he is trying to say to them. And then you see the jeans guy chase after him as the victim got up and ran. So jean clad guy was not a victim. |
