Yesterday a motorcycle with a 34 year old man steering and a female passenger on the back hit the side of a church when he lost control of the motorcycle due to high speed.

He died at the scene and she got lucky and was only injured.

Nah, nobody try to help or at least tell the woman to lie still while the paramedics try to get there. He's obviously in super-fucking-bad shape with all that head-trauma and bleeding. But someone could at least try to save her.

People who dont know what they're doing could do more harm than good. If you are in area where people are generally not well educated, chances are they wont know how to help properly.

Perhaps, but I wasn't suggesting they break out in full-CPR mode either. Just comfort the woman and try to keep her from moving. Just common sense there.

Culture makes it unpopular to help. Especially if their friends catch them helping.
