The Man Was Caught by the Tailboard of the Vehicle.
I don’t know any other details, and I’m not sure if it was a machine malfunction or if he made a mistake while using the remote control in his hand. He seems to have died. Can someone with a better understanding of human structure explain?

What exactly happened to his body? It’s so hard to tell if he was decapitated/his neck broke and his shoulder was dislocated popping his arm forward, or if his neck/head/shoulder/collar was actually crushed. The damage to his body just looked mechanically very strange.

The guy’s a fucking genius! I’d say he crushed himself and wasn’t able to take a breath after he got himself into that position. He even had the controller in his hand. |

You'e fine. If you haven't already, suggest you read the site rules: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...w.php?pg=rules (e.g. there's particular sensitivity around children and animals) Another thing is that before starting a new thread *please* make sure it hasn't been on the site before. You could do a site-wide search, or if you have images do an image search and see if any of them are found on DR already. If it helps, I've been on this site for 15 years and I still can't figure out how to upload videos correctly. We appreciate people who upload content because if nobody did that the site will die. (BTW I am not a moderator on the site, just an ordinary guy) |

This is mechanical asphyxiation at its finest. It closed enough to not allow his chest to expand and he would have died from asphyxiation. Obv not a broken neck because he was moving

Re: The Man Was Caught by the Tailboard of the Vehicle.
More modern hydraulic lifts and doors have safety sensors that detect something lodged in the perimeter of the doorway and will stop immediately and reopen. Obviously, this older model truck lacked such safety features. Ugh! What a way to go. Poor guy couldn’t even yell for help.

It's not a button but a lever. These hydraulic gates are very dangerous. There are no "sensors". And "most" trucks don't have them.
