He was a police officer acording to this news:

"Security camera footage recorded the moment federal police officer R.M.S, 43, shoots customers at a gas station in the Cristo Rei neighborhood of Curitiba (see above). In the video to which PRC Curitiba had access, the shooting took place around 11:45 pm this Sunday (1st).

One person died and three others were injured in the shooting. The gas station is on Rua Sete de Setembro. Another video shows the beginning of the discussion.

The security agent is detained at the Federal Police in Curitiba. His defense stated that the client had a "psychotic break, due to the deep depression he has been facing".
