Re: Man Alive with Truck Sitting on Top of Him
once they moved that truck off him he would have died. There is no way to survive from being that fucked up. The truck being on him would have been the only think keeping him alive by stopping some of the bleeding.

Re: Man Alive with Truck Sitting on Top of Him
If he wasn't bleeding out he could sit there all day because it's all lower body damage, nothing vital. Without some blood for a transfusion and a surgeon able to sever his lower body while controlling the bleeding they can't even move that truck, he'd bleed out fast. You can see the look of "I'm fucked" on his face. |

Re: Man Alive with Truck Sitting on Top of Him
I worked on a woman in a very similar situation as a flight nurse-as soon as the truck was moved off of her, she bled out in less than 60 seconds. She opted to be conscious rather than sedated during the moving of the truck-again very similar to this man. She knew she was going to die......so does he. I wanted to point out as well, that just your femur(the large thigh bone) alone can lose upwards of 2 quarts of blood from a simple break, so the 'nothing vital' comment is not exactly true~this man had breaks and crush injuries to both legs from this camera angle(that I could see)which could literally cause death from exsanguination all by itself as the average human only has 5-6 quarts or approximately 5.6 liters to begin with. However-the tamponade effect of the truck's tire did slow it down-hopefully long enough for him to say goodbye. |
