~Madurai Man Dies After Falling Into Cauldron With Boiling Porridge~
 Madurai: A man died of burns after he accidentally fell into a pot of hot porridge made for the Aadi festival, at a temple near Palanganatham, on Friday. CCTV footage of the incident surfaced on Tuesday, shocking viewers who watched a dizzy man lean against one of the huge metal pots, in which 'koozh', or porridge, had been made at the Muthu Mariamman Temple. As alarmed workers reached out to him, he lost his balance and fell into the pot. As he struggled to get out of the pot, people overturned it and he fell out. He suffered severe burns all over his body. He was rushed to Government Rajaji Hospital for treatment, where he died a few hours later. |
