You know the authorities are monitoring that number if it's his - why the fuck would he answer it or use it for that matter? I would think a cellphone is pretty damn easy to locate.

He probably thinks he can outsmart police since he got away so easily after the murder. The digital trail, as you know, is huge. He's cocky about his abilities, which is pretty scary seeing as how we know what he has accomplished already. Let's just hope that cockiness leads to his arrest.
