Re: Look Close.
On September 11th and the following days, news were full of pictures of people cheering all over the world. Apparently it was NOT a sad day for mankind and the American society even today is not able to understand WHY it wasn't a sad day for mankind. It was a VERY SAD day for mankind when the Bush-Administration LIED to the UN to wage an unjust war though. |

Re: Look Close.
Pictures of people in third-world shit-holes, maybe. And the UN bought into the lies, and many countries involved in the UN continue to profit off of it just as much as America does. Capitalist exploitation of war, death and destruction is not confined to just one country. To assume that it's an American invention is to give us WAY too much credit as a country. It was a sad day for mankind because it showed that even in the 21st century people still suffer and die over a warped notion of God; and that 21st-century technology and advances in science are still not enough to curb the virulent proliferation of ignorant, backwards, 13th-century beliefs. Decrying the Bush administration or America wouldn't make a difference to radical Islamists. They would cut your head off just as sure as they would mine because YOUR GOD ISN'T THE SAME AS THEIRS. It has NOTHING to do with foreign policy or national identity. Hence, it being a sad day for "mankind" and not just "Americans." I don't condone or endorse the actions of the Bush administration, nor do I condone or endorse the actions of any administration from Johnson forward. But confusing our corrupt government with the rank-and-file citizens that have very little control over their political "leaders" is reactionary and counter-productive. If they had crashed planes into the White House and the Chamber of Congress, I could understand. Hell, I would have considered it a good thing. But these were office workers and bankers. Assholes and infidels, maybe, but not military or political personnel. How do their deaths do anything other than enrage the populace and traumatize the witnesses and survivors of the victims? They were just making a living and paying their taxes, and playing by the rules that separate civilized 1st-world society from 3rd-world shit-hole city-states. So we supported the mujahideen against the Soviets in Afghanistan. So we stationed troops in Saudi Arabia AT THE INVITATION OF THE HOUSE OF SAUD ITSELF. And so on and so forth. But how does that justify the actions of radical Islam? Hint: it doesn't. At least the war in Iraq was started over money. I can see money. I can touch money. I know it exists. Can anyone say the same about Allah? |

Re: Look Close.
This is no argument. Only the usual ignorance. Haha! If you think that it is better to tell a lie than to buy into a lie then you are more of a islamic morale than you think! :D It was an American/British intervention and only the American veto in the security council prevented the UN to call it what it was: a violation of the laws of nations. Ugh, oh... Didn't Bush himself made the Iraq War a religious question of good versus evil? Didn't he say that he felt like being chosen by god? Of course these were only excuses because the only reason for the war was money and oil... If I would be to choose between a bomb on my head for money and a knife on my neck for religion I would definitely chosse the bomb but this doesn't make it any better. It's not important what you "condone"! What were the hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq? Do you really think these were all terrorists, lol? And don't forget the demonic laughter of American drone-controllers when they kill Iraqis! ...or Abu Ghraib. There you have your civilised 1st-world. Wrong question. Correct question would be: How does that justify a rebellion against an occupation that happens to be islamic (the rebellion)? Bush's work and Qaidas contribution... Also, Saddam was a secular tyrant. The problem with islamism in Iraq did not start before the invasion. And the Qaida was paid by the U.S. and today they again get money to fight in Syria. What did I just write?! And: to whom?! Omg... |
