Re: Look Close.
I can now see the fire in the windows next to him, coming along to his path. Sad. Hope the lobby was not playing Van Halen that day...

Re: Look Close.
Not sure what was playing before the North Tower was hit, but after it was hit, they had all sorts of trouble with anything to do with public announcements, or the pa system in general. I do know music playing out on the plaza was recorded by a couple of different camera men. Jack Tallierco was fucking crazy, he actually ventured out onto the plaza, but was smart enough to stay under the overhangs of WTC # 4. That man had balls of steel to do that, because by the time he arrived there, the South Tower had been struck. When the first plane hit, some actually still thought it was an accident, but when United 175 hit, EVERYONE knew it was not an accident. I can tell you, there was a different feeling in the air after the second strike. People went from concerned and confused, to scared shitless and realizing we were under attack. Shit was crazy, and people kept hearing rumors of other planes being unaccounted for. Of course we all found out later that it was not rumors, but two more planes had actually been taken over. You could really see the concern in the firefighters' faces, but they marched right up those steps anyway. Whenever they would hear something on the radios, it further hampered rescue attempts. That is of course when the radios were working in a halfway descent way, that cost a lot of people their lives too. |

Re: Look Close.
So when are we going to see your personal photos you took that day? Really interested in all WTC footage you can provide, you have alot of great WTC threads here, with 90% of the footage ive never seen before. Thanks |

Re: Look Close.
Thanks man, it is people like you that make it worthwhile to put up with people who think 9/11 should be swept under the rug, or forgotten about all together. I have a scanner ordered, after that I can convert them to a digital format. |

Re: Look Close.
No disrespect taken. I am well aware that people want to see the gore aspect of 9/11, and that is expected. This is a goresite after all. See how you did not insult everything in the thread ? You did say at least something was worth while. The people that say this should be forgotten and and swept under the rug is what gets to me. |
