The last vid, at 51 seconds, when you hear the metal 'clang', look above the blue car and to the right of the light pole. There is a small cloud of pink mist as a body explodes on top of the fire truck. Person was probably yelling "get Bin Laden" as they fell, now they can RIP.

Actually there is quite a bit of video of the jumpers hitting the ground. Some from the news crews who were there, some from people who had camcorders, and some survellance footage throughout the WTC complex. The survallence cameras themselves were destroyed after both collapses, but the footage survived because it was in the basement part of the Marriot Hotel in a section that was reinforced after the 1993 bombing. They say they do not want to release it because it dehumanizes the people who jumped, but I say if people saw it, the would have a better idea of what was going on. Imagine being 1,200 in the air, with one way down. You know you WILL die if you jump, but the heat just keeps getting hotter and the smoke does too. Hot smoke can roast you from the inside out, not to mention smother and dissorient you. I believe some fell out because they were blinded and choked by smoke, but some made a conscience effort and jumped. I would have jumped myself, I am terrified of heights, but I would like burning to death even less. |

Let's see here. It's a video of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Did we have to look close for the planes that struck the towers ? Did we have to look close to see the towers collapse ? I did it that way so people would see and hear it themselves with out me clouding their judgment. If someone says watch the jumper hit, it does not set in as much as when they realize what it is for themself. |
