At Least 6 Killed, 20 Injured in Mexican Road Carnage
At least 6 people died yesterday morning in an accident on a bridge in Mexico, which also left more than 20 people injured. According to witnesses, due to speeding, a yellow cargo truck lost control and rammed several cars and a public transport unit (a combi), before crashing into a retaining wall. 5 people died at the scene of the accident. Forensic Medical Service personnel went to move 5 bodies to the morgue. The sixth victim was a minor who, after being admitted to the Children's Hospital, died as a result of a head injury. The other injured were transferred to different hospitals. Among the injured is a patient with severe head trauma plus femoral fracture. |
