Friend, I have seen some photos of some of the dudes that did some of the ass whooping. The actual problems in this fuckk up event stems from personal beefs within some of the cartels members. The federal and local governments will not mention this. The cartels have infiltrated most walks of life. Including professional sports. According to the Mexican News Media, the local police along with private event security coordinated to make sure the locals had a weapons advantage. The visiting groups were subject to high security measures before they were allow in to the stadium. In good time most of the important will come out in to the spot light. However, the government will keep a lid on the information and will try their best to cover it up. I remember back in the late 70s how the Mexican and Salvadorian crowds behave during soccer matches at the L.A coliseum. I even saw with my own eyes a group of Honduran men staving a drunken fan. lapd and la sheriff did not do a single thing.

Anyway... as someone from the US who doesn't really follow football like that, Ive heard of "hooliganism" before but thought it was just a UK thing.

Ive seen people lose their shit because of a sports game before (like when the Canadians hilariously decided to trash their own city because they lost the Stanley cup in 2011... so I get it, people can only be pushed so far... but why the fuck are they stripping people down?! Like, I could maybe understand if they were ripping off jerseys, but I'm not seeing anyone wearing Queretaro/Atlas underwear.

Question for everyone, does this kinda thing happen often in other places? Maybe not so much with a body count like this, but people trashing the stadium like that.

Mexico got rid of the bullfighting Spanish tradition after more than 300 years, it would be another milestone if they got rid of soccer, some people would be better of if they did.
