Wish I could edit posts in this section instead of doing a seperate post but I did find the chechclear video right here on good ol' DR. My time-frame is way off though, I probably first saw it around late 90s/early 2000s, not 2008, and video quality seemed MUCH clearer and longer then I've never been able to bring myself to rewatch it, not even now. I winced when I saw it used for only 2-3 seconds in a grisly (but unusual and memorable) horror film anthology called Cradle of Fear (2001).

Yes remember that video..Rotten.com was the first gore i saw, my internet speed was so slow, it took forever for images to fully open up, i never even had broadband

I think it was ogrish.com that I saw my first real-life gore clip (chechclear) on the internet. They didn't even have thumbnails for the clips back then because it would take too long to load an index page with images on dial-up, so it was just a long list of short, clickable descriptions like "guy gets his head cut off" then you clicked and, oh man, something clicked in us! It's why we're all here today

Ogrish was the shit back in those days. I still remember watching my first death videos and looking at death photos on both Ogrish and Rotten.

I'm amazed how many of you have the same experience that I had from that video.

I remember the worst part of that video was not the actual video, but the audio. It was gutteral as fuck, never heard anything as heavy as that since tho.

I remember Ogrish used to have like this contest type thing where you would have to sit through a series of the worst videos on the site, and it would like give you a badge if you were able to sit through them all. I could be wrong...but whatever it was, it was pretty cool... miss those days...not the 56k part
