Ya, so America isn't perfect.

But this nation was founded on two main rights. Freedom of speech, and right to bear arms.

It's funny how Europeans today are all against the 2nd amendment. But when America was founded, clear up to around 30 years ago. Europeans were very jealous and knew, not just thought, but knew that right was of most importance.

First of all, this case is such a perfect one to show how important it is for our gun rights.

This kid probably shouldn't have been there. But he was there, and it's a good thing he came armed. Also, he may or may not have broken any gun laws. But he proved he is responsible enough to carry a gun. He was basically attacked by a mob. And he only shot people who were a direct threat. And didn't shoot at the several other people who where threats, but he held fire when they fell back.

They didn't attack him because he had a gun. They attacked him because they lit a dumpster on fire, and were pushing it into a gas station. And he and several other armed men put the fire out.

That's what enraged this crowd, they weren't allowed to burn down a gas station. Because people stopped them.

And they were successful in stopping them because they were armed.

So when you get past all the propaganda about all the other nonsense. There were riots. Several businesses were looted and burnt to the ground. Business owners armed themselves and enlisted volunteers to stand and prevent their businesses from being destroyed.

And armed people showed up for that purpose.

The controversy isn't that armed people showed up, making a bad situation worse. Or a peaceful protest violent. That's false.

The controversy is, that people go to protest, but a large number of them are rioting and looting. Committing arson. And they think that anyone who try's to stop them from looting, and burning buildings to the ground is "looking for trouble".

No. The people stealing and destroying people's lives are looking for trouble.
