i think the larger patch in the middle might be the lighting - it is only there once he has fallen, so is unlikely to have been mist that has fallen onto the counter top . . . it looks a little brighter than the other part though

the stuff on the right seems to be his blood or part of his head - and there is a spray on the ground leaving his head

Actually looks like he hit his head on the way down, on counter, I think it is blood, what cha think?
