I use to help my dad catch pigeons when I was a little kid, all we did was set up a cage on the roof with some bait inside. After we got enough we delivered them to my grandfather, who loved eating them. In return he gave me like a dollar for each. After a bit it sickened me, but my dad explained it was an old timey Spanish thing.
