Lose the cutaways. They’re not funny. It would have been a great video otherwise. |

Re: Kicked, Stabbed, Robbed & Left to Die
OOoooh, tough crowd! It's one of the reasons I fell in love with posting my videos here. Everyone just clamouring to tear you an "honest" new one. Generally, apart from your DR friends you'll have the long and short of it by the end of that same page. What I do, is try to stick to my 3 golden rules (unless my mood, or shoulder Devils specify otherwise): 1) Never add music to a video that has sound already. Unless it is an emergency (see below for example of emergency 1min30sec).https://www.documentingreality.com/f...g-rain-193277/ 2) Only impede video over areas already beshitted with the watermarks of other sites. (eg. tease other people and/or sites on top of their own watermarks* (any spillage should be strictly limited to some furtherance of the berating of the original stainer) See example. 3) Any creative liberties that must be taken, should be made into a secondary video. Always second, and always labelled as such (I've always liked BONUS in my titles) *Even adhering to this rule can sometimes have unexpected and negative results. Perhaps you'll remember the time I cleverly bypassed the absolutely pocked with variable speed scrolling watermarks, yet, highly kick ass Afro-cineration by splicing in video of the original Dr. Frankenstein. I left the sound from the burning video go, but where ever a watermark began to appear it would switch back to Frankenstein. I even kept it thematically coherent--they chased and beat on that black dude for like nine minutes. Frankenstein was perfect. But no way, not here it wasn't. https://www.documentingreality.com/f...common-202706/ |
