Kenji Goto was a handsome guy, probably a great journalist. A terrible loss. I wonder what went through his head when the enigmatic Jihadi John was blurted out the usual niceties at the camera. these jihadi guys are getting super annoying hogging the news cycle like this. Whenever I see these raggedy-ass fuckups on camera I don't see men of conviction or faithfulness. I don't see the enlightened spokesman for the oppressed masses. I see some smelly turk in bed sheets with self-esteem issues, a bonehead who's high-jacked one of the most hideous and toxic religions ever invented by mankind to satisfy his own murderous ends. these warrings muslims keep making better and better videos and appear more respectable in an attempt to legitimize their whole enterprise, and yet they will never be legitimate in the eyes of a civilized and morally and culturally-superior Westerner. Mediocre human beings making power grabs, that's what's fueled human conflict since the dawn of time. not stopping today. |
