i wonder if the victim felt his-self or head being placed on his own body, cause would death be instantaneous once they cut all the way through, or would there be a few seconds or more of some relative state of awareness? i mean given his quick beheading...i think maybe he has 10 seconds or so after complete separation of spinal cord from brain.
