No... I disagree. (And I've spent time overseas in the Army). As long as we are forcefully involved in their disputes due to the money and power hungry corporations. It's hypocritical at the very least. But it also removes my ability to criticize them. How can I point at them and claim barbarism if I am also guilty of the exact same behaviour?
The only way to honestly label them as 'beneath' us is for us to rise 'above' them. For us to be more civilized than they are. To be more accepting of those who are different.

I've said it before and I will repeat. The point I'm making doesn't mean that I don't have vengeful desires. Believe me, I'd love to stand there and blow the heads off every single Isis member. I would personally get great pleasure in doing so. But I also recognize that that behaviour would dehumanize me. Degrade me. Make me a lesser man.
